Welcome to our site for more info and photos about our lake house rental. Some of this may be a repeat of what you already read onVRBO Listing #332866 , but we wanted to give you plenty of info!
There’s plenty to do here no matter what season you visit. We rent by the week or weekend. Generally we don’t rent it for a night at a time, but if it’s open, we may. June, July and August are busy so don’t miss out – get your reservations in early.
Enjoy lake living and small town activities! This is secluded, relaxing and away from it all! All the towns around here are small and have their own character, personality and their own special community events.
The house sleeps 8 adults comfortably in 2 queen sized beds, 2 twin beds, one double futon, one bunk and if need be, we can make up the sleeper sofa.

Spring – crisp, cool nights are perfect for roasting marshmallows over a fire in the front yard firepit. The mosquitos haven’t emerged yet so it can be very pleasant to be outside. During the days, go for walks along the road and you may see wildlife and flowers.
Summer – hey, this is a lake! Bring a boat and float toys and enjoy the water. The fishing’s pretty good as well but the walleye can be tricky to catch. Bass are right off the dock in the the lily pads, and there are a few good spots for catching pan fish. The town of Litchfield has summer activities for all ages. Check their website: http://www.Litch.com
Fall – small game hunting is good around here. It’s a good base to set off on pheasant hunting, grouse or other small game. Check the area for deer hunting in season.
