How was I supposed to know?

I had no idea what I needed to do to make sure I moved into my new house was successful. I had never really moved before, and the only thing I had done so far to schedule an appointment time for the movers to come to my house. Since I was moving all the way to Texas, it took nearly a month to get all of my utilities transferred over. Some of them, like my cable, where a major hassle and required a long wait time. I even spent some time online researching at http://www.texaselectricityproviders.com/ambit-energy-texas/Texas/S/Sulphur-Springs/ to make sure I was getting the best electricity rate in my area since Texas is a deregulated state. By the time I got my new digs, everything was under control and I was ready to start decorating. I thought I would never get finished, but I unpacked the very last box a week ago. I guess now you can officially say I’m a Texan! Don’t expect to see me wearing a 10 gallon hat anytime soon, though.
