Whether you’re selling your house or not, we can all use a checklist of great cleaning tips! If your house is on the market, it’s even more important to keep your house in showing condition. You never know when the right buyer is going to take a look. Don’t miss an opportunity to sell your house!
And even if you’re not selling, we’d all like to keep a nice-looking house, wouldn’t we? I know I can benefit from some easy to follow tips! Just by straightening up after you use something, you’re far ahead. Do the dishes as soon as you finish a meal; pick-up after yourself in the main rooms by putting away reading material and straightening the pillows and throws. Don’t leave home without making your bed! It’s not that hard and it makes the whole room look better. Pick up clothes right away so they don’t pile up. And put clean laundry away as soon as it’s done!

Ok – you can’t do it all the time, but the more you make it a habit, the easier it becomes. Real Simple magazine has an easy to follow list of what to do when to keep your home in showing condition or just nicer-to-live-in condition. Save the big jobs for those days when you have lots of time – and lots of energy!
