Here’s a great home organizing tip you can put to use right away! If your kitchen is like mine, the table or the countertops seem to collect all kinds of stuff like a magnet. I’m not sure how it gets there – it just magically appears! But here’s a solution that may just work for you…
Use these for lots of little things!
Stack as many as you need!
If you can, clean out a small cabinet, maybe under a drawer, or one that’s off to the side, or a junk drawer that you don’t even know what’s in it anymore. Clean it out – take everything out and decide what stays and what goes. Then, and here’s the home organizing tip, put in some kind of shelving or drawer system that will hold papers, pens, calculators, and miscellaneous junk that gathers in your kitchen. I put a small, plastic, 2-drawer cabinet in there, then added smaller dividers. Now I can put papers, mail, junk in the lower one and in the upper one, I have a place for pens, and all the little items that cause clutter!
