Soft colors in a small bathroom
Don’t you just love re-doing a bathroom and seeing it all fresh, new and different than what you started with? Whether you’re starting from scratch (new home, move-in), or just want a change, here are some ideas to start you on your way!
First of, pick your colors. You can browse through all types of towels, accessories, shower curtains and more. Then, when you find the items that you just have to have, you take your colors from there. The rest, as they say, it easy!
Order you bath linens and accessories; take some time to admire them; then decide on the overall color. Bright is fun and uplifting. Neutral or white is calming and soothing (like a spa). Soft, easy colors give you some variety but don’t “shout at you.” If you like high contrast, you can’t beat black with neutrals. You’ll easily find these colors from your accessories. Take an item or two to the paint store with you to pick the colors. Or, contact a great color consultant (like me) for some help.
